"WHY IS THERE A CHOIR AT THE AUSTRIAN PERCUSSION CAMP?
Singing is one of the oldest forms of human expression. More and more research has been done on the positive effect that making music with your own voice has on body, mind and soul. What has been brought to light inevitably leads to the conclusion: regular singing is so healthy that it should actually be prescribed by your doctor! Singing is balance. Singing helps us find the beat again and soothes the vegetative nervous system. Singing sets us free. Singing brings balance to the soul. Singing is vitality. There are many reasons why singing makes you come alive, cheers you up, is so exciting. And the best is that it all happens automatically! I hope that the percussion won’t take a back seat to Rahela Durič, the rising star in the sky of choir directors."
